ETERNAL SLEEP

Living in dreams where impossible things come to life
A sleep so long and silent like death on the first of November
Wake me up and hurt me and stab me with your knife
A hand filled with doubts and a fear that was never over
Never set me free and from this darkness I search the light
A soul that travels alone inside a heart of a griever


I wept alone where tears from my eyes made rivers of sadness
A lonesome night in a deserted place not a single soul has ever wandered
Wake me up and hurt me from this deep sleep of loneliness
A pain that would reach the depth of my soul that has withered
My eyes are open but no hopes are seen caused by blindness
A life buried in the core of sins and by lies I am covered


Now I pray for someone to wake me up in this deep sleep
A dreaming that has given me hopes…hopes of uncertainty
Wake me up and hurt me, make me feel human for I am no creep
I have a soul like everyone does; I have a heart deep with in me
One day I will find happiness, happiness I will forever keep
A day that will come I’m sure, everyone will know…everyone will see
